Staley Spins 15-K Game Tuesday, September 14th , 2049 Mahoning Valley defeated the Connecticut Tigers today at Eastwood Field. The Scrappers got a strong outing from winning pitcher Mike Staley. He blazed 15 third strikes past Connecticut batters. Staley won the game 7-3, allowing 5 hits and giving up no walks in the victory. This year Staley has made 30 starts, thrown 226.1 innings, fanned 237 batters and walked 22. His won-lost record is 17-4 with a 2.35 ERA. |
