Brooklyn's Starter Receives NL Pitching Award Wednesday, September 1st , 2049 R.J. Barr of Brooklyn had an outstanding August with a 4-0 mark and was chosen the Pitcher of the Month in the National League. He topped off the month with a 0.59 ERA in 6 starts, tossed 46 innings, fanned 60 and held opposing teams to a .138 average. This season Barr has worked 137.2 innings with 178 strikeouts en route to a 15-3 record and a 2.29 ERA. |
