League Suspends Slot and Wax for Brawl Monday, August 23rd , 2049 Zach Slot of Los Angeles (NYP) and Matt Wax of West Virginia were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Slot will have to miss 5 games for his part in the brawl, while Wax was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. So far this season, Slot has recorded a .250 batting average with 33 hits, 4 home runs, 15 RBIs, 15 runs scored and a .349 OBP. For the season Wax has logged 4 wins and 12 losses and struck out 89 batters in 108.2 innings while compiling a 4.39 ERA. |
