Dunham Touches All the Bases, Hits for Cycle Saturday, August 21st , 2049 Muckdogs first baseman Justin Dunham made big news today in Batavia's 19-4 victory over the Boise Hawks. He was 4-for-6 at the plate and hit for the cycle, collecting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run. "My numbers were gaudy but lots of guys deserve a share of the credit today," Dunham said later. Justin Dunham hit a two-run home run off Mike Pierce in the 1st, tripled in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th and singled in the 7th. This year Dunham is hitting .243 with 9 home runs and 62 RBIs in 111 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .319 with 48 walks and 73 runs scored. |
