Injury Brings Season to End for Campbell Monday, August 9th , 2049 In a news release, the Staten Island Yankees announced that starting pitcher Jon Campbell would miss the rest of the season due to a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Campbell sustained the injury on 08/06/2049. He "will be sorely missed," said his manager. This season Campbell has compiled a 1-10 record with a 6.36 ERA. |
