Milwaukee (NYP)-Batavia Fight Results in Suspensions Monday, July 26th , 2049 If there wasn't a history between Tyler Francis of Milwaukee (NYP) and Sean Fowler of Batavia, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 3 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Francis said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." In this current campaign Francis is hitting at a .357 clip with 5 home runs and 23 RBIs. In 20 starts this season Fowler has fashioned a 8-8 record and a 3.82 ERA. |
