Shorebirds Not Competitive in 7-0 Loss to Hickory Sunday, October 17th , 2049 Dan Dill of the Hickory Crawdads humiliated the Delmarva Shorebirds at L.P. Frans Stadium today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 3 hits. "He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Delmarva manager Ryan Ramsey, after the game. Dill whiffed 6 and walked 2 in the 7-0 win. "If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Dill said. "I was making good pitches the entire game." This season Dill has crafted a 14-10 mark with a 3.49 ERA in 216.2 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .263 against him and he has 177 strikeouts. |
