 Michael Youngberry of the Binghamton Mets and Jerry Spitler of the West Virginia Power received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 4 and 9 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at NYSEG Stadium.
 
 In 68 games this season Youngberry is batting .247 with 68 hits and 1 home run. He has scored 45 runs and driven in 16.
 
 This year Spitler has fanned 95 in 108 innings and collected a 8-5 record with a 2.83 ERA.
