Sosa Struts Stuff in Win Over Beloit Tuesday, July 27th , 2049 Jon Sosa of the Lansing Lugnuts was one tough customer on the hill today, blanking the Beloit Snappers 9-0 on 2 hits. "When he's on, he's tough to hit," said Beloit manager Joel Baker after the game. "He's just a bulldog out there." The 27-year-old Lugnuts left-hander registered 16 strikeouts and allowed 2 walks and 2 hits. His record for the year is 9-4 in 19 starts and Sosa has a 2.64 ERA. |
