Lynchburg Takes Division Series Friday, January 29th , 2049 It took a while, but the Lynchburg Hillcats finally disposed of the Dunedin Blue Jays 7-1 in the series clincher at Ed Smith Stadium. Winning the finale gave the Hillcats the series, 3-2. They will now advance to the Championship Series. The Most Valuable Player Award went to Lynchburg designated hitter Carlos Abrego. He batted .667 in the series, collecting 3 RBIs and scoring 4 runs. The Championship Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes. |
