Mavericks on to Championship Series Thursday, January 28th , 2049 The High Desert Mavericks are one step closer to winning a World Series, and the season came to a close for the Jupiter Hammerheads. High Desert won the Division Series 3-1, with a 6-1 victory in the deciding game at Roger Dean Stadium today. High Desert first baseman Aaron Graham was named the MVP of the series, after hitting .375 with a .444 on-base percentage. He had 1 homers, drove in 3 RBI and scored 2 runs. "I just hope I can keep it up in the Championship Series," he said. The Championship Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes. |
