Lakeland Clinches Postseason Appearance Thursday, January 7th , 2049 The Lakeland Flying Tigers are headed for the playoffs. The club officially locked down a postseason spot today with their 23-10 record, although it remains to be seen whether they will officially capture the A Division. Nonetheless, the players were overjoyed and celebrated excitedly upon learning of their clinch. "This is why you play the game, to get a chance to win a World Series," said reliever Jesse Turner. |
