Evans and Donnelly Fight, Get Suspended Thursday, December 3rd , 2048 After an intense confrontation, both the Mets Jason Evans and the Flying Squirrels Matt Donnelly were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent St. Lucie-Richmond game. Jason Evans will miss 4 games, while Matt Donnelly was suspended for 9 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Jason Evans commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." |
