A Player of the Week Chosen Monday, December 20th , 2049 It's always a thrill for fans of the team and students of the game alike when a superstar in the making shows what he's got. Tamaichi Sasada, the Carolina Mudcats 23-year-old first baseman, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for A Division Player of the Week honors. He ripped 12 hits in 24 at-bats, compiling a .500 average with 5 home runs and 9 RBIs. This season Sasada is batting .348 with 24 hits and 7 home runs. He has scored 14 times and has 15 runs batted in. |
