AL Announces Player of the Week Monday, August 30th , 2049 One of the league's most exciting young players, Kuemon Shishido of the Chattanooga Lookouts earned himself American League Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 24-year-old first baseman had a lofty .556 average (10-for-18), collecting no home runs, 6 RBIs and 2 runs scored. This season Shishido is batting .298 with 134 hits and 21 home runs. He has scored 52 times and has 73 runs batted in. |
