Barons Suffer 10-0 Drubbing from Fisher Cats Wednesday, August 18th , 2049 Orlando Giron was impressive at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium today in the New Hampshire Fisher Cats' 10-0 shutout victory over the Birmingham Barons. The New Hampshire pitcher mystified the Barons in a strong performance, giving up 2 hits and totaling 2 walks and 11 strikeouts. "Orlando had them chasing a lot of pitches and talking to themselves," New Hampshire manager Stu Cole. "It was something special to watch." To date this year, Giron shows a 14-5 record, 24 starts, 166.2 innings, 173 strikeouts and a 2.00 ERA. |
