The 26-year-old second baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the National League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .579 average (11-for-19) with no home runs, 2 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This season Martinez has hit at a .312 clip and produced 8 runs batted in, 2 home runs and 20 runs. |
