Nobles Spins Shutout Against Mud Hens Friday, August 7th , 2048 It was not a good day at the plate for the Toledo Mud Hens. They came up empty when it mattered against Buffalo Bisons right-hander Art Nobles, who scattered 5 hits across 9 innings and held the Mud Hens scoreless. "We had 5 hits so I know he wasn't completely untouchable, but he was close," Toledo manager Pheart Hed said later. Nobles chalked up 4 strikeouts and 1 walk in the 9-0 Bisons win. To date this season Nobles is 11-2 with 21 starts and an ERA of 2.32 with 80 strikeouts in 151 innings. |
