Sandoval Cracks 5 Hits Monday, July 26th , 2049 It was a big day for Paul Sandoval and he brought the Louisville Bats along for the ride. Sandoval led his club to a 10-1 victory over the Indianapolis Indians today at Victory Field, smoking Indianapolis pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. The 31-year-old shortstop later called the victory "sweet." Paul Sandoval doubled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Jeremy Parsnip in the 7th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th. This year Sandoval is hitting .299 with 3 home runs. |
