					| Guardians Fall Short, 4-3, at Boston |
					| Cleveland got a terrific game from catcher Nick Sharp. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Boston, 4-3. Sharp went 2 for 3 with a home run. Guadalupe Vasguez, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 8th save. At 19-10, the Red Sox have played well so far.
The Red Sox got an important contribution from catcher Greg Shaw, who in the bottom of the fourth hit a slider into left-center for a 2-run double. It was his 5th double of the season and put the Red Sox ahead, 3-0.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Shaw told the Boston Observer.
