					| Nationals Deal Brewers 5-3 Defeat |
					| The Washington Nationals topped the Milwaukee Brewers, 5-3, in National League action at Miller Park. The standout performance belonged to Washington pitcher and Chesterfield, Missouri, native George Kellum. The Brewers drop to 12-12 and continue their mediocre start to the 2049 season.
The outcome might have been different for Washington, had it not been for Kirk Arp, the fan favorite . Arp stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put Washington up, 5-3. For the game, he was 2 for 4, including 1 double and 1 single.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Arp. "And not try to do too much."
