					| Extra-Inning Win by Blue Jays Over Astros |
					| The Toronto Blue Jays took Houston pitcher Mat Pear's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Minute Maid Park. The final score had Toronto getting past the Astros, 3-1. Pear went 8 innings and allowed no runs, striking out 8. The Blue Jays, now 16-5, have been sizzling early on.
Toronto used the clutch hitting of Willis Robles to snag the win. The center fielder drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Blue Jays ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Toronto manager Max Meany.
