					| Royals Drop Yankees, 5-2 |
					| The Kansas City Royals beat the New York Yankees, 5-2. Kansas City pitcher and North Platte, Nebraska, native Asa Hahn led the way. Joe Noonan earned the save for Kansas City, his 2nd. New York, now 5-14, continues its tough start.
Kansas City used the bat of Mike Meyerhoff to capture the win. The catcher jacked a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Royals ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a dandy.

"It feels good, just a great win all around," Hahn said after the game.
