It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Luke Burnham today -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Cleveland Indians Complex and paced the Indians to a 23-1 win over the Burlington Royals.

After his dynamite batting performance, the Cleveland (APP) third baseman told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control."

His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 7 tries and put his name in the record book. Luke Burnham doubled in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Ryan Robbins in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 8th and grounded out in the 8th.
