					| In a low-scoring affair between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Francisco Giants, pitcher Michael Walsh was the difference between victory and defeat. The Los Angeles right-hander earned accolades in the 2-1 Dodgers win. Los Angeles reliever Geoff Mooney was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Caleb Mullinax took the loss. The loss lowers the San Francisco record to 10-8. 
 In the bottom of the fourth, Los Angeles center fielder Tim Nettles had a big at-bat. With two out and the bases empty, he hit a solo  home run. For the game, Nettles was 1-4 with a home run.
 
 "We found a way to get it done," Walsh said.
