					| Reds Come Up Short at Chicago, 6-5 |  
					| The Cincinnati Reds got a superb performance from first baseman Chris Grunwald, but the Chicago Cubs still won the game, 6-5. Grunwald was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles,  and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. The winning pitcher was Edwin Rivera. His record is now 1-2. The right-hander went 6.2 innings, allowing 4 runs on 5 hits for the Cubs. Mike Alexander got credit for the save for Chicago. It was his 4th of the year. 
 In the bottom of the third inning, designated hitter Jose Balderrama came through big-time for the Cubs. With Chicago trailing 3-0, he belted a 3-run  home run.
 
 "It feels good to get this one," Balderrama told the Chicago Chronicle.
 
 Cincinnati falls to 9-10.
