Pittsburgh Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Pittsburgh Pirates did just enough to secure a victory over the San Diego Padres, 5-4, at PNC Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Stan Stirnweiss. Jeremy Kennie snagged the win in relief. In 2 innings, the right-hander allowed no runs on no hits. He's now 2-1 on the season. The win brings the Pirates to 11-7, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.

The Pirates relied on pinch hitter Jason Moss for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"It was terrific getting this win," Stirnweiss said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
