					| Reds Win, 5-2, at Milwaukee |
					| Fred Slade was instrumental in his team's 5-2 triumph over the Milwaukee Brewers. The left fielder went 4-5 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI for the Cincinnati Reds. Timmy John Aaron-Lee Frank Silveira, the winning pitcher, improved to 1-1. He pitched 5.1 innings, giving up 6 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 5. The Brewers drop to 5-10.
With Cincinnati leading 3-2 in the top of the ninth, Slade hit a fastball from John Owens for a 2-run double. It was his 4th double of the season and put the Reds ahead, 5-2.

Slade called winning a team effort. "It's not the same guy every time," he said. "It's the sum of the parts."
