					| Mets Edge Phillies, 2-1 |
					| New York Mets starter Andy Reinhardt was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Philadelphia Phillies, 2-1. The Phillies, now 2-10, continue their inauspicious start.
Had Sean Cook not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Cook hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Mets.

"We've got guys willing to do what it takes to win," Cook told the New York Citizen.
