					| Yankees Deal Blue Jays 4-3 Loss |
					| The inspired effort of Toronto third baseman Dominik Hasek II was not enough to prevent a loss, 4-3, to the New York Yankees. Hasek II slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. New York pitcher Robert Cruz got the win. He's now 1-0. Luis Bautista was tagged with the loss. The win has New York at 1-2.
The Yankees relied on third baseman Bartholomeu Chambino for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the 13th, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

Chambino described the clubhouse as "strangely calm" after the game.
