					| Athletics Bridle Angels, 3-2 |
					| The Oakland Athletics did just enough to sneak past the California Angels, 3-2, at O.co Coliseum. Oakland pitcher Corbin Schenn, in particular, had a standout performance. Oakland pitcher Germano Nunes got the win, upping his record to 1-0. Steve Cooper got the loss. Charlie Shook earned the save, his 1st, for the Athletics.
One of the clutch hits for Oakland came from one of their biggest talents. In the bottom of the seventh with one out, Tim Cordle, the 6th overall pick in the 2045 draft, hit a run-scoring single to put the Athletics up, 2-1. For the game, the pinch hitter was 1 for 1.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Oakland skipper Daryl S. Oakland.

 The defeat makes California 2-1.
