					| The Washington Nationals went down to defeat to James Woods Jr. and his Philadelphia teammates. The final score was 5-2 in favor of the Phillies. In 8 innings, Woods Jr. surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 6 and  walking 1. He allowed 2 runs. The Phillies  now have a record of 56-101. 
 Philadelphia took a 3-2 lead on Brad Turner's 12th home run of the season. The solo  home run, which Turner hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Washington pitcher Lionardo Rabelo visibly frustrated.
