The Boston Red Sox beat the Toronto Blue Jays, 7-4, at Rogers Centre. Jose Diaz was 2 for 4 with a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The 24-year old left fielder was a menace to Toronto all day. Boston has now won 6 games in a row.

Diaz had a game-changing double in the top of the tenth. On a 0-2 slider from Mario Amore, he banged a 2-run double to right-center, giving the Red Sox a 6-4 lead. It was the 24th double of the year for Diaz.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Diaz told reporters after the game.
