The Cincinnati Reds faced a tough opponent in San Francisco pitcher Curt Howland, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Great American Ball Park by a final score of 7-1. Howland went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs. Cincinnati has now won 3 in a row.
