					| St. Louis Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win |
					| There was never a dull moment in this extra-length game between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Milwaukee Brewers.
St. Louis got a strong outing from John Fisher as the Cardinals defeated the Milwaukee Brewers, 3-2, at Busch Stadium. Mike Pemble earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. He upped his record to 3-2.

The Cardinals procured the win, in large part because of third baseman Mike Bates. In the bottom of the 11th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"Another day, another win. On to the next one," Bates told the St. Louis Observer.

With the victory, the Cardinals record now stands at 68-83.
