Nationals Roll to 8-2 Win Over Marlins
The Washington Nationals beat the Miami Marlins, 8-2, at Nationals Park. Seth Cook, in particular, was impressive. He went 1-2 with 3 walks. He scored 3 times. Caleb Westbay finished the game for Washington and earned his 1st save. The third-place Nationals improved to 67-82.

The Nationals got a big at-bat from right fielder Bob Melley. For the game, Melley was 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 10th home run of the season gave Washington a 3-2 lead.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Cook, "and then get after it again."
