					| California right-hander Jonathan Jackson pitched his team to victory over the Cleveland Guardians at Progressive Field. The final score was 6-2. Jackson got the win, improving to 12-10. He allowed 8 hits and walked 3 over 6.1 innings. Jackson allowed 2 runs. The losing streak for Cleveland has now reached 5 games. 
 Rusty Ney, the former first round draft pick , had a direct impact on the outcome. Ney contributed a 2-run  single in the top of the fifth inning to put California up, 3-2.
