					| San Francisco Giants starter Randy Johnson Jr. pitched his team past the St. Louis Cardinals, 3-2. Filip Nebylitsin notched his 6th save in 8 chances. With the win, San Francisco upped its record to 78-64. 
 Philip Jansen, the 33-year old left fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Jansen contributed a run-scoring  single in the top of the 11th inning to put San Francisco up, 3-2.
 
 Johnson Jr. called winning a team effort. "It's not the same guy every time," he said. "It's the sum of the parts."
