					| Dooms goes 3-for-4 to Power Giants Offense |
					| The San Francisco Giants stymied the Oakland Athletics, 4-2, at AT&T Park. Bill Dooms had a good day at the plate. He went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for San Francisco. The triumph puts San Francisco at 70-62 for the season.
Dooms had a key at-bat for San Francisco early in the game. With the bases loaded, he hit a grand slam home run. It was his 12th home run of the season and gave San Francisco an early 4-0 lead.

Dooms told a San Francisco Observer reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
