					| Angels Topple Mariners, 4-1, as Trujillo Shines |  
					| With shortstop Javier Trujillo leading the charge, the California Angels defeated the Seattle Mariners, 4-1, at Safeco Field. Trujillo  was 3-3 with a home run, a double,  and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Erick Vazquez, the winning pitcher, improved to 1-2. He pitched 6.1 innings, giving up 3 hits and no runs, while striking out 8 and walking 2. George Poirier earned his 19th save in 22 chances. 
 With California leading 1-0 in the top of the fifth, Trujillo came up to bat against Seattle pitcher Tom Graham. Trujillo hit a fastball to center for a 2-run  home run. His 14th home run of the season put the Angels on top, 3-0.
 
 "This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Trujillo said after the game.
 
 The misery continues for the Mariners, which has now dropped 12 in a row.
