					| The San Francisco Giants knocked off the Oakland Athletics, 5-1, at AT&T Park. C.J. Sagle was a big reason San Francisco won. The catcher went 1 for 1 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. San Francisco currently is in third place in the National League West Division at 69-62. 
 Making an impact for the home team was Bill Defazio. In the bottom of the sixth, the 24-year old shortstop  had a run-scoring  walk. That made the score 3-1, Giants.
 
 "If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said San Francisco manager Rusty Longsword.
