					| Mets Sneak Past Nationals, 3-2 |
					| The New York Mets bested the Washington Nationals, 3-2, at Citi Field. Jeff Jank was one of the standouts. He threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball. Ken Dewey, now 4-2, was credited with the win. He allowed 2 runs on 1 hit, while striking out 1 and walking 2. New York bumps their record to 56-74 with the win.
Jason Larson was the walk-off hero for New York. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Mets left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Washington manager Mike Shore.
