					| Brewers Earn 2-1 Win Against Cardinals |
					| St. Louis pitcher Nate Crow gave the Brewers all they could handle, but in the end, Milwaukee left Busch Stadium with a win, 2-1. Crow allowed 1 run on 5 hits over 7.1 innings. The winner in relief was Timóteo Metzener. He is now 8-7. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 3.1 innings. Milwaukee is now 59-67, St. Louis 60-68.
Milwaukee relied on the bat of Jose Morrissey to get the win. The second baseman ripped a run-scoring double in the top of the 14th inning to put the Brewers ahead, 2-1. For the game, Morrissey had 2 doubles and 1 triple in 6 at-bats.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Morrissey said.
