Vink Helps Minnesota Cruise to 13-3 Win
Getting a good performance from left fielder Harris Vink, the Minnesota Twins defeated the Chicago White Sox, 13-3. Vink went 2-2 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Twins. Ted Mosley picked up the win, improving his season record to 5-15. He struck out 8 in 7.1 innings. The Twins raised their record to 44-79.

The Twins picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
