					| Best, Giants Beat Dodgers, 14-5 |
					| The San Francisco Giants knocked off the Los Angeles Dodgers, 14-5, at Dodger Stadium. Tom Best was a big reason San Francisco won. The designated hitter was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 4 runs and drove in 4. San Francisco pitcher Ricky Rodriguez got the win, upping his record to 9-7. Michael Walsh got the loss. With the win, San Francisco pushed its record to 60-53.
Best had a key at-bat for San Francisco early in the game. With the bases loaded, he hit a grand slam home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and gave San Francisco an early 4-0 lead.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Best said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
