					| The California Angels bested the Oakland Athletics by a score of 6-4, with designated hitter Mark Reeg getting the main credit. On the day, Reeg was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Angels. With the win, California upped its record to 60-47. 
 California won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. With no outs and Charlie Shook on the mound for Oakland, left fielder Alain Delhaye hit a dramatic 2-run  home run, bringing Angels fans to their feet.
