					| Starting pitcher Mike Nimmo pitched well enough to help the Colorado Rockies beat the Washington Nationals, 5-3. The winning pitcher was Nimmo, now 6-7. He tossed 8 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 5. Colorado now has a 4-game win streak. 
 Bi-jun Chien, the 34-year old left fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Chien contributed a run-scoring  sacrifice fly in the top of the first inning to put Colorado up, 2-0.
 
 "The vibe's good," said Colorado manager Joshua J. "We've got to keep it going."
