					| 8-5 Loss to Rockies Extends Washington Losing Streak |
					| Getting offensive support from Jerry Luckwell, the Colorado Rockies topped the Washington Nationals, 8-5. Luckwell went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Rockies. Gabe Stokes, who went 6.2 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 4 runs on 5 hits, while walking 4 and striking out 6. His record now stands at 9-4. The save went to Mitch Guerrero, number 17 for him.
Colorado used the bat of Bi-jun Chien to get the win. The first baseman hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the third inning to put the Rockies ahead, 6-4. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"We're in a funk and we need to shake ourselves out of it," said Washington manager Mike Shore.

The losses continue to add up for Washington, which has now fallen 10 times in a row.
