					| Losing Streak Continues for Red Sox with 2-1 Loss to Yankees |
					| Fenway Park was the site of a remarkable pitchers' duel.
The New York Yankees took Boston pitcher Momosuke Sato's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Fenway Park. The final score had New York getting past the Red Sox, 2-1. Sato went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs, striking out 7. New York has now won 9 games in a row.

Adriaan Pieters dealt the Red Sox a blow in the top of the first. Batting with a runner on 2nd and New York leading 1-0, Pieters, who finished 3rd in the AL in doubles with 45 in 2040, hit a full count fastball for a run-scoring single.

"We'll kick back tonight and enjoy this win," said Pieters.
