					| Blue Jays Beat White Sox, 5-2 |
					| With pitcher Matt Altieri leading the charge, the Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Chicago White Sox, 5-2, at U.S. Cellular Field. Altieri, who finished 5th in the AL in innings pitched with 232.2 in 2045, threw 7.1 innings of 5-hit ball. Altieri, now 4-3, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 8, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. The Blue Jays have an impressive 61-29 record.
Toronto used a timely hit from Bill Murray to get the win. The right fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Blue Jays ahead, 3-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Toronto manager Max Meany.
